Next Step works with national and local housing counselors to ensure our homebuyers are prepared for the purchasing process and feel confident maintaining their homes after closing. Next Step partners with Navicore Solutions – a national leader in the field of nonprofit financial counseling to provide pre-purchase counseling to our potential homebuyers.

Hagerstown Home Store is a community-based homebuyer education and counseling program operated by Hagerstown Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc., in Hagerstown, MD.

In Petersburg, VA, Southside Community Development & Housing Corporation‘s HUD-approved counseling center specializes in pre-purchase counseling, down payment assistance, and foreclosure prevention.
