Modular Housing Redevelopment Project in St. Petersburg, FL

Completion Date: September 2018 | ST. PETERSBURG, FL | Infill Housing

PROJECT Summary

The Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, Inc. (CDC of Tampa) partnered with Next Step Network to place two modular homes on vacant lots in the Child’s Park neighborhood of St. Petersburg, FL – a designated community redevelopment area.

The project will eventually feature up to 12 three-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,400 sq. ft. homes on vacant lots owned by the Tampa Bay CDC.

“Tampa Bay CDC – as a community developer – was looking for ways to have scalable and more efficient means to provide housing at a reasonable price point. Through Next Step’s network, we were introduced to the local Florida manufacturer, Palm Harbor Homes.”
